St. Augustine Wedding Photographer | Tom & Lauren

Tom and Lauren came all the way from Pittsburgh to get married in St. Augustine at the Lightner Museum. Since they came from out of town, we didn’t get a chance to do an engagement session and talk in-depth about their plans for the big day. When I arrived on the wedding day, I was blown away by all of the sweet, personal details. One of my favorite details was that Tom enlisted the help of their pet bunny to propose to Lauren, and on the wedding day she had a custom made clutch with a silver ink sketch of a bunny to represent their sweet little rabbit. 😉 I also la-la-la-loved their rich colored bouquets from The Conservatorie, one of my favorite local florists. When Lauren’s brother walked her down the aisle and they both broke into tears, it just about broke my little heart, in a good way. 🙂

I was so thrilled to document the love that this sweet, loving, low-key couple has for each other. Their wedding was truly centered around their serious decision to wed and spend the rest of their lives together, which just makes me endlessly happy. 🙂

The butterfly pin Lauren is holding belonged to her grandmother.Lauren said, “I was really close to her, and just wanted to have something that was hers with me on my wedding day.  Also, I wore her engagement ring on my right hand.” Lauren’s deep love for her family was so evident that day. She really just wanted everyone to have an amazing time and enjoy the celebration.

The diamond heart necklace Lauren wore was a gift from her father to her mother, who also wore it on her wedding day. Her aunt also wore it on the day she was married.
I just love her bunny clutch!
Tom and Lauren’s intimate reception was in the Sala Menendez room, which is also at the Lightner Museum.

Congrats, you two! I am so happy for you both and I was truly honored to document your wedding day.

Have you ever considered about adding a little bit more than just your
articles? I mean, what you say is valuable and all. But think about if
you added some great images or video clips to give your posts more, “pop”!
Your content is excellent but with pics and
video clips, this blog could definitely be one of the best in its niche.
Superb blog!
