St. Augustine Wedding Photographer | Shaun & Angie
The moment Angie contacted me about photographing her wedding, I knew it would be a really special, emotion filled event. Shaun and Angie met a year before their wedding (to the day). They planned to get married much later, but moved the wedding date forward because Angie’s father was in poor health. Angie and her family lost her daddy just weeks before the wedding day. In the midst of many emotional months, the wedding planning was pushed into the background. After her daddy’s passing, she and Shaun set their minds to making their wedding day everything they dreamed of. Their attention to detail was so impressive, especially in such a short amount of time. The wedding itself was so much fun. Shaun’s family came all the way from New Zealand and made sure everyone had an awesome time. 🙂
It was so wonderful to see Angie’s family celebrate life and love and welcome Shaun into the family with open and grateful arms.
Hair: Ibrey Hudgens (Bride) and Heather Paschal (Bridesmaids)
Jewelry: Lee Clements (the bride’s momma!)
The two photos of Angie holding her phone have a story behind them. She was telling us how Shaun is so sweet and considerate of her. One morning he wanted to make her breakfast. When she went to get the eggs out of the fridge each one had a sweet note on it her for. 🙂
Angie’s daddy’s favorite song was “My Red High Heels”. All the girls wore their red heels in his honor. 🙂
I was SO glad Shaun and Angie chose to have a “first look” before the ceremony at the Lightner Museum
. I always just love how intimate and sweet it is when a bride and groom get to see each other privately before the wedding. That way they really get a chance to stop and breathe and appreciate each other before the wedding whirlwind begins. 🙂
Angie surprised Shaun with a custom wedding band and chose to give it to him during the first look.
I also love doing a “first look” because it gives us pleeeenty of time to take photos.
Yes… Their eyes are really crazy blue and almost the exact same color. I couldn’t help but get a super close up. 🙂
The ceremony was held on the rooftop of the White Room Loft
After the ceremony, Shaun and Angie took a moment to have some photos of just the two of them.
This is one of my favorite shots ever. They are awesome models. 🙂
I loved Angie’s turquoise and red color scheme. Everything was just so vibrant and beautiful.
Shaun and Angie’s first dance was ADORABLE. Seriously, it was one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen. I just love that she changed into her cute little pink dress too.
All the ladies dances to “My Red High Heels”. Even the groom’s momma was in on it!
Congratulations to you both, Shaun and Angie. You are an absolutely beautiful couple and it’s always so nice to see two people who are so completely crazy about each other.
